Crimson Fight are a band for the plucky underdogs in life. Sick and tired of the dull and lifeless music scene they have often experienced on the road, the boys no longer take any prisoners onstage. Expect an unstoppable, no holds barred show, charged with raw emotion and guts. It's about friendship, and it's about unity.
With a growing army on the East Coast, and people beginning to sit up and take notice from further afield, it's time to stand together and show the world what we're all made of;
"This is no ego trip. This is NOT yet another local band pretending that they are someone. This is four best friends who love music and have a raw passion for what we believe. We're taking this thing back to it's basics, and we want all of you guys up at the front with us."
Crimson Fight:
Mark Wharry: guitar/vox
Joel Neill: guitar/vox
Danny 'Boy' Moore: bass/bgv's
Neil 'Nelly' Woodside: drums

Crimson Fight and our extended family would like to extend congratulations to our long time friends Aaron and Lois Ferris, who got married yesterday at The Haven in Templepatrick. Wishing you many years of happiness, and God's every blessing in your new life together.
'posh goth' love,
Joel, Mark, Danny Boy, Nelly, Queasy, Paula, Dani, Joanne and all the ExCx crew.
Hi everyone. Thank you to everybody who made the effort to come out to both of our shows this weekend. We had a blast at both of them, and hope we can hang out with you all again.
Friday shout outs:
BPP, good to meet you guys, and we look forward to our jaunt to Greenbelt this summer. Oh So Pretty, cheers as always for good times and a tight wee set. Gonna try to get down and see you on Wednesday up North. Kiri/Harry, thanks as always for coming out and supporting us. Jordon/Lauren, thanks for coming and talking to us...hope you got enough free signed junk. No broken bones this time! Free CD guy...I forgot your name sorry. Peter who came to see us before in Lisburn, Rab the speed drummer, Marc for snapping photos, Sanctuary (esp. P-Lo), cheers for another night in Lisburn, Tribe Of Judah bikers....legendary, Queasy and Joanne for trekking from the Ards Peninsula, Relentless Energy Drink for looking like beer, Nandos for being everything Joel and Mark ever dreamed of, the Westlink for being Joel and Mark’s worst nightmare. We talked to a lot of people, so sorry if I forgotted ye.
Oh, and a special mention to ’so it is’ Traffic Warden, thanks for threatening Joel with the police and giving P Lo a ticket for parking in an empty sidestreet just ten minutes before the allowed time. Thanks for being a government monkey who can’t make a simple judgement call and let us go for parking to offload gear and do some good in your city. Thanks also, for being really easy to outsmart. You got East Coasted, chump.
Saturday shout outs:
Shotgun (Bobby, Jamo, Pete and Connah), thanks for kick starting something that could be really important in our town. Viva la Phoenix Nights. Here’s to many more. Breaking Stereos...are you sure that was your first show!? We will play together again. Soon.
Everyone who came down to the show, I think you were a part of something special, and we really hope we could do our bit to make you guys have a fun time. Thanks to old friends, new friends and everyone else. Congratulations to Jimbo for winning the Hardcore Danceoff 2k8, and his ’star prize’. Sorry to all other entrants. We’re not liable for any damage incurred by stray windmills etc.
The regulars at the Phoenix, thanks for putting up with ’that thump thump’ for an evening. We’ll be back. And louder. Sorry.
On a serious note, we came to a verdict after the show that we have never played a more fun set to a better crowd ever. We’ve been doing this junk for around seven years now. Our ExC (and further afield) community is an important thing that we should all support. I know that it’s definately helped you guys through a lot of tough crap, and it’s built a lot of tight friendships and brother/sisterhoods that simply just don’t exist in other places. Never let anyone tell you that you aren’t important. Many towns and many kids (including us at 13) would have killed for what we have now. Hold fast. Don’t let stupid crap get in the way of what you have.
Just to fill you all in on the latest, the end of this month sees us travelling back to the KLC in Lisburn to support the UK mainland's own Back Pocket Prophet (Friday 28th March). Hopefully we can bring the rock to the 'burn once again, and go home without having to do a stop off at casualty and eat cold sausages. The cold sausages part wasn't compulsory, you understand. If you're our Lisburn mate, and even if you're not, come on down and say hi...but bring your own pocket-rags this time. Our's aren't for sale. Sorry.
The night after that sees us back on home turf, as the nice, KFC loving, and not to mention good looking Shotgun guys have invited us to support them at the Phoenix Club alongside newcomers Breaking Stereos (who are probably quite good looking too). It should be a mega-tight night of rock and/or roll and looking good. Not to mention being good-looking. Too much?
In other news, the new CD (preview tracks on main myspace page) is getting there. Paula 'Shoneyclothes' Shone has done really good at being the legend she is as usual, and hopefully we'll have something to sell before summer. We have some really sweet ideas for this CD. We're getting them pressed and releasing them in proper boxes, but each one will be unique. No two the same.
We might even number them.
DIY ethic. Hardcore's Not Dead?
Speak to you all soon, and please understand that this blog is the first real human contact I've had today...so forgive the excitability.
